Will briefly discuss the causative factors of TMJ disorder at an orthodontic prospective

Will discuss indications and contra indications and long term follow-up of:
1. Orthodontics only in treatment of TMD
2. Orthodontics and equilibration in treatment of TMD
3. Orthodontics and orthognathic surgery in treatment of TMD
4. Orthodontics, joint surgery and orthognathic surgery in treatment of TMD
5. Will discuss how to identify patient with low tolerance for occlusal disharmony
During the lecture appropriate literature will be presented to support treatment executed and contrary literature will also be presented.
