Dr. Saperstein is a graduate of Boston University School of Medicine. He completed a Neurology residency at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, followed by a Neuromuscular Disease/Clinical Neurophysiology fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Saperstein is board certified in Neurology, Neuromuscular Medicine and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He is the director of the Center for Complex Neurology, EDS & POTS in Phoenix, AZ. His practice focuses on the diagnosis and management of EDS as well as autonomic and neuromuscular disorders. Dr. Saperstein is a Clinical Associate Professor of Neurology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine and an Adjunct Professor of Neurology of the University of Kansas Medical Center. He is well-known for his research on immune-mediated neuropathies. Dr. Saperstein’s clinical and research interests include a broad array of neuromuscular and autonomic disorders. Dr. Alexander T. Vaughan is a board certified orofacial pain specialist and co-founder of Virginia Total Sleep. After starting his dental career in the United States Army, he moved to Richmond, Virginia. His practice, Virginia Total Sleep, is fully dedicated to the specialized treatment of orofacial pain and sleep apnea and was founded on the key pillars of increased access to care through medical insurance billing and digital dentistry. Drawn into dentistry by CAD-CAM systems, Dr. Vaughan was able to put down the highspeed handpiece, but can’t let go of digital impression, design, and fabrication of appliances for his patients. In addition to clinical dentistry, Dr. Vaughan provides training in orofacial pain, dental sleep medicine, medical billing, DSM practice administration, and digital design/3D printing.
