The first lecture, entitled “What Does PSG Tell Us About Sleep Apnea Morbidity and Disease Prognosis That the AHI Cannot?”, focuses on our recent work involving physiological traits from the PSG, airflow patterns and their associations with the severity and structure(s) causing airway collapse, and PSG cardiorespiratory predictors of mortality. In my second lecture, “Predicting Responders to Mandibular Advancement Splints: From the Physiological Laboratory to the Clinical Setting,” I will be presenting our recent work aiming to identify the physiological traits that predict responses to mandibular advancement therapies.
