Trigeminal Autonomic Cephalalgias (TACs) are rare primary headaches characterized by unilateral headache/face pain with one or more accompanying autonomic features such as: conjunctival injection, lacrimation, nasal symptoms, eyelid edema, miosis, ptosis, facial and forehead sweating, facial and forehead flushing and/or sensation of ear fullness. As the population ages, the likelihood of multimorbidity increases. Certain clusters of morbidities tend to be present with specific chronic conditions. However, no studies to our knowledge have explored the patterns and clusters of multimorbidity in orofacial pain (OFP). This study aimed to: 1) determine the prevalence of morbidity and 2) to describe the patterns/clusters of multimorbidity in OFP.

This report describes the case of a 41-year old female patient with a chief complaint of pain at the donor site following gingival graft surgery 5 years ago. She reported constant discomfort and numbness located in the anterior third of the palate, with intermittent episodes of 5/10 burning pain, approximately 10 times a day lasting for 30 minutes. She also indicated slight relief with gabapentin 100mg qd.
