Dr Larry Lockerman DDS has been treating face pain, TMJ disorders and Obstructive Sleep Apnea since the early 1980’s. He attended a 2 year program in Orofacial Pain Management in the University of New Jersey Dental School in 1985 and 1988. He has been a member of the medical staff of several hospitals and has lectured to many physicians and dentists about pain management and sleep disorders. He has published articles in peer reviewed journals and has written book chapters in neurology and physical medicine books. He has lectured to dentists and physicians about his work.

It is impossible to call your patient care comprehensive without diagnostic and therapeutic injections in the head and neck muscles, tendons and in the TMJ. A review of what’s old, what’s new will be discussed. How and where to do injections including dry needling, lidocaine and prolotherapy will be reviewed. Is it evidence based? When my license board demanded an explanation about my injections, I’ll tell you what my response was. P.S. I am still doing the injections.
