The Adams School of Dentistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is inviting applicants for an Orofacial Pain faculty appointment. This is a fixed-term academic appointment that will include clinical and didactic teaching at the pre- and post-DDS level including the CODA-accredited Orofacial Pain Residency Program, research activity, patient care at the Orofacial Pain Clinic, and service. This represents a unique and challenging opportunity to become a leading facilitator in higher education in Orofacial Pain and Interprofessional pain education, and to join a multidisciplinary team of pain clinicians in the delivery of care for patients suffering from chronic orofacial pain and comorbid pain conditions. In addition, there is the exciting opportunity to collaborate in ongoing pain research in key areas ranging from pain neurobiology to translational pain medicine.

About Our Practice:
We are a rapidly growing Orofacial Pain, TMD and Dental Sleep Medicine practice in New York City. Since the inception of our practice, our focus has been to render the highest level of evidence-based care for TMD and orofacial pain patients. We limit our practice to OFP only.
Our mission is to raise awareness for these conditions, and to educate the public and healthcare community on the appropriate care via publications, social media and lecturing engagements.
What We Offer:• Newest technologies including Cone-Beam CT imaging, intraoral scanners and milling/3D printing • New office space built in the Winter of 2020 in the heart of New York City (Park Ave and 36th Street)• 90% Orofacial Pain & TMD, and 10% Dental Sleep Medicine.
