Thank you for your interest in becoming an AAOP member.  Individuals have the option to become the following member types:   Fellow, Active, Affiliate, Student, and Retired.

A summary of each is provided below to understand what membership type is best for you.

Fellow: Active members can apply for “Fellow” status by completing the application and submitting documents by January 15 of each year.  $525 annual membership fee.

Active:  Licensed dentists or equivalent degree in good standing within their state or country.  $525 annual membership fee.

Affiliate:  Licensed healthcare providers who are not dentists (MD, DO, PT, RN, etc.), non-dental allied health care professionals, or researchers.  $275 annual membership fee.

Student:  Full-time individuals who are enrolled in a dental or post-graduate dental program as of December 31, 2023.  $100 annual membership fee.

Retired:  Individuals who are retired and no longer maintain an active license.  $250 annual membership fee.
