Huge societal investment in science and biotechnology have produced understanding that individual characteristics of patients have bearing on their response to treatment. Using the ever increasing datasets on individual patients, combined with tremendous computational power that has never existed before are about to change the way all medical disciplines will operate. Orofacial pain and headache will not be spared from the disruptive thinking .
