Course Description

This webinar will explore the current trends and future directions in the use of AI and advanced imaging technologies in the diagnosis and management of orofacial pain. Participants will gain insights into how AI is enhancing diagnostic accuracy and improving imaging interpretation, with a focus on modalities such as MRI, MDCT and CBCT.
The session will highlight practical applications in clinical practice, offering a clear overview of the evolving role of technology in orofacial pain management.

Presenter Bio

Dr. Gürkan Ünsal is an Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist, with a research focus on MRI in the maxillofacial region and maxillofacial malignant tumors. He is the founding member of the MRI Committee in the Turkish Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Association and is affiliated with Western University and the ITU/WHO Focus Group on Artificial Intelligence for Health.

In addition to his dental expertise, Dr. Ünsal holds an associate degree in web design and coding, blending his technical skills with his research in advanced imaging and diagnostics.
