Orofacial pain refers to a group of complex pain conditions affecting the mouth, jaw, face, and related head and neck structures that are not due to routine dental disease. These conditions may arise from musculoskeletal, joint, or neurologic sources and often present with overlapping symptoms, making accurate diagnosis essential to appropriate, conservative management.

The American Academy of Orofacial Pain is a welcoming community of healthcare professionals dedicated to easing pain, sharing knowledge, and supporting one another.

Together, we grow, lead, and make a difference in the lives of those we serve. Join us and be part of something meaningful.
