We are thrilled to announce that the American Academy of Orofacial Pain (AAOP) has selected CRANIO: The Journal of Craniomandibular & Sleep Practice as its official journal. This milestone marks a significant advancement in AAOP’s commitment to providing members with access to the most comprehensive and authoritative resources in the field of orofacial pain and related disciplines.
CRANIO is owned by Taylor and Francis and holds the distinction of being the oldest and largest journal globally dedicated to temporomandibular disorders (TMD) and orofacial pain. Its scope has recently expanded to encompass a wide range of topics in sleep medicine, ensuring its relevance across intersecting specialties.
CRANIO is a hybrid open access journal under the Open Select publishing program, offering authors the choice to publish open access. Six issues are published each year. The editorial board guiding the journal, newly formed in January 2024, comprises esteemed academicians and clinicians from diverse medical and dental specialties. The team includes:
