Teaching TMD at the Predoctoral Level – Experiences and Challenges in Implementing the CODA Predoctoral Education Standard 2-24k

Background: As of July 2022, CODA Dental Educational Program Standards 2-24k requires that at a minimum, dental graduates MUST be competent in providing oral health care for Temporomandibular Disorders.

Objectives:

  • Explore the current status, needs, and challenges in implementing CODA Predoctoral Education Standard 2-24k
  • Build a TMD Predoctoral Educator Network

  • Q & A session with panel members from the AAOP Predoctoral Education Committee
